Carmarthenshire AM welcomed launch of Welsh language phone book
Carmarthen East and Dinefwr's Assembly Member has welcomed the introduction of a Welsh Language phone book. Rhodri Glyn Thomas, whose constituency has the largest proportion of welsh language speakers in Wales, has greeted this service.
Mr Thomas said:
"It is good to see that big company's in Britain are reaching out to the Welsh language community. It is important for the people of my constituency to be able to communicate in their chosen language, and the introduction of the Welsh language phone book gives my constituents and option."
Mr Thomas added:
"I was delighted to be invited to the launch of this event which shows BT's commitment to a bilingual Wales. I welcome this move and hope that all of my constituency benefit from the Welsh language phonebook."
