MP and AM voice concerns over charity's future
Wales' only Junior Gateway under threat
Carmarthen East and Dinefwr's elected members have spoken of their concerns at the situation surrounding Wales' only junior gateway group. Adam Price MP and Rhodri Glyn Thomas AM have voiced their concerns following fears that Ammanford Junior Gateway will be forced to close as a result of a lack of funds.
Mr Price said:
"Ammanford Junior Gateway provides and essential service in Carmarthenshire and as the only junior gateway in Wales it would be a huge blow if the necessary funding could not be secured."
Mr Thomas added:
"Ammanford Junior Gateway provides training for disabled adults and children as well as alternative therapy. If this facility was lost it would be a major setback for the people who have benefited so much from its assistance."
